Santa Cruz Shredder 2-part grinder v2.1 *Green* with a diameter of 54 mm
The Santa Cruz Shredder v2.1 is a 2-piece premium aluminium grinder with a diameter of 54 mm. The model is designed for grinding herbs and is suitable for preparing ground material for vaporisers. The 2-piece system consists of a lid and a grinding chamber, without an integrated sieve or pollen chamber. This makes it easy and straightforward to use, with a focus on consistent grinding results.
2-piece design for quick use
The 2-piece grinder design allows for quick and easy use. After grinding, the material can be removed directly from the grinding chamber. This makes the grinder particularly interesting for users who do not need a pollen catcher and prefer a compact design.
Material and workmanship
The Santa Cruz Shredder is made of high-quality aluminium and is designed for long-lasting use. The surface is cleanly finished and designed for regular everyday use. Aluminium grinders are considered robust and offer a stable thread that is easy to open and close even with frequent use.
Grinding mechanism and cutting geometry
The Santa Cruz Shredder 2.1 is known for its consistent grinding results. The grinding mechanism is designed so that herbs are not just crushed, but cut cleanly. This creates a consistent structure of the ground material, which is important for vaporisers, as uniform material improves airflow and can make extraction more stable.
Diameter 54 mm
With a diameter of 54 mm, the grinder is in the medium to large range. This provides sufficient space for herbs without making the device appear unnecessarily large. The format is well suited for use at home, but is also portable.
Use in vaporisers
Evenly ground herbal material is a key factor in vaporisers. It supports stable airflow in the herb chamber and facilitates even heating. This makes the Santa Cruz Shredder 2.1 a suitable accessory for herbal vaporisers, both for convection and hybrid systems.
